W.J. Kowalski, PE, PhD -- Executive Vice President Dr. Kowalski is one of the foremost experts on technologies for the control of airborne diseases and the design of immune building systems for bioterrorism defense. He has performed extensive research into the design of UVGI systems, filtration systems, dilution ventilation, and has worked on several development air and surface disinfection technologies including pulsed light, photocatalytic oxidation, and ozone. He has published numerous articles dealing with the problem of microbial contamination and lectures around the country on bioterrorism defense and related disease control topics. His recent book, Immune Building Systems Technology, published by McGraw-Hill, has been widely acknowledged as a seminal work that has
brought critical engineering and scientific information into the hands of designers and researchers around the globe. A list of citations and copies of published articles an be provided on request. Dr. Kowalski is also a research associate at the Pennsylvania State University's Indoor Environment Center where he continues to conduct research into immune building systems and aerobiological engineering technologies.
