Capabilities of Immune Building Technologies

Filtration technology has a demonstrated effectiveness in the removal of biological agents, including spores, bacteria, viruses, and toxins. MERV rated filters in the range of MERV 11-15 can be as effective as HEPA filters in reducing indoor concentrations of biological agents when combined with UVGI.

UVGI technology has a demonstrated effectiveness in the removal of bacteria and viruses, especially those that may penetrate filters. UVGI systems are selected and sized to complement the removal efficiency of MERV filters so as to provide a balanced rate of removal for all biological agents.

Combined filtration/UVGI systems are sized based on computer simulation of attack scenarios and detailed models of commercial buildings in order to provide the maximum degree of protection to building occupants at the minimum operating cost.
